Prez has been singing the Lord’s praises since his adolescent days in Los Angeles, CA. Prez’s musical experience began at an early age, singing in the church choir under the constant inspiration of his mother and grandmother. As a child, he opened up for gospel greats-Shirley Caesar, the Williams Brothers and the Mighty Clouds of Joy.

Prez is a member of Bishop Noel Jones’ renowned Greater Bethany Community Church where he is active in the music ministry-Praise Team and Voices of Judah. Prez is also a lead vocalist for Renee Spearman and Prosperity Crusade Choir. Prosperity is an anointed, youth and energetic community choir on the West Coast. As a lead singer of Prosperity, he has performed at House of Blues chain, Bobby Jones Gospel Explosion, a Tribute to Arnold Schwarezenegger, Church of God in Christ A.I.M. Convention, Disneyland and the Gospel Music Workshop of America. As a solo artist, Prez has entertained audiences at many special events, including a WNBA Los Angeles Sparks’ game and the wedding of Men of Standard member Lowell Pye. He has worked with some of today’s hottest producers, including Warryn “Baby Dubb” Campbell (Yolanda Adams, Brandy, Kelly Price) and Shep Crawford, (Whitney Houston, Deborah Cox, and Boyz II Men). Prez has provided background vocals for Mary Mary, Brian McKnight, Walter Hawkins, Hezekiah Walker and Karen Clark-Sheard. He has recorded with Renee Spearman and the Prosperity Crusade Choir on the Grace/Tyscot label and IMPROMTU on the Motown/MoJazz label. Prez was also featured on a gospel compilation album with Andre Crouch, which was released in New Zealand and Switzerland. Most recently, Prez was selected as a member of the “Choir of Life” which provided background vocals for Kurt Carr’s latest CD/Video release-“Awesome Wonder”.

On January 19, 2002 Prez released his first single, entitled “Remember Me” under the BlackSphere/Drae Entertainment label. In addition to his music career, Prez has also pursued his educational career with vigor. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. PreZ is currently working on his MBA at the University of Phoenix.
